About the management at BEAN Emporium
Di Raymond took over the ownership of BEAN Emporium (formerly known as BEAN Vintage) early in 2016. Di runs the business with her sister Liz Campbell and together they have rebranded and reinvented the business according to their shared values and beliefs. They each bring a wealth of expertise to the table at BEAN.
Di has always enjoyed cooking and in 2004, Di qualified at the National Gourmet Institute in the United States to become a Health Supportive Chef. She worked closely with families in New York to improve their nutrition, cooking meals that she knew they would love, whilst incorporating wholesome ingredients to benefit their health and wellbeing. Di has been featured on Forbes.com as a result of her outstanding work.
Liz has a very strong background in customer service, having worked in this role for large utility companies and solicitors during previous years. More recently, Liz ran a successful wedding franchise business, with customer satisfaction being at the heart of day-to-day operations.
Liz has a natural flair for communication, enabling her to make customers feel welcome whenever they visit. She has a great sense of taste and style that shines through in all the wonderful home furnishings and decorative items that are on display at BEAN Boutique.
Both Di and Liz strongly believe in sourcing local products to help support small businesses. They have put together a fantastic team to work alongside them, all of which live locally. Liz and Di aim to make sure their staff are happy at work by supporting their needs through continual professional development and by offering a flexible working approach.
